As a pretty new sewist (about 2 years), I feel like my biggest sewing accomplishments have been thanks to Heather's patterns and classes. I was pretty nervous to sew both jeans and swimwear, but wanted to dive in (ha) and I'm so glad I did! It's like sitting down with a really patient and put-together friend who knows exactly what they're doing and is just so excited with you to make something. Every question I had was anticipated and explained, and I love that Heather's style is so warm and positive. I made my first pair of jeans, and while not perfect, the fit is amazing and the confidence is even better.

I am SO GLAD I invested in this course!! What an amazing resource. Heather's teaching style is really friendly and informative, and I really appreciated the pep-talks throughout. I made jeans! and they FIT! I'm so excited and I can't wait to get started on my next pair.

- Kallie Aud

I've purchased other jean construction programs but this one is the best - by far. The organization, pace, visuals, tips and instructor are excellent and as an advanced beginner, I feel very prepared (finally) to sew my first pair. (Side note: as an instructional designer and learning technologist for many years, I am really impressed with this learning content.)

I had never done an online sewing class before and I started out somewhat sceptical. In all honesty, your sew-a-long is so great that I wasn't really sure what "else" I could get out the class. I am so glad I decided to take the plunge because the class really transformed my sewing experience. The most important thing was actually psychological! The class really enabled me to take a "break it down and take it in small steps", which made it so much more enjoyable and relaxing. I feel totally empowered by my finished jeans. They are wonderfully and perfectly imperfect! In fact, before taking this course and sewing my Gingers I never even knew that RTW jeans were fitting me badly! I now have an entirely separate sewing queue devoted only to Ginger Jeans and I will definitely come back and re-watch the lessons with each new pair!
